The LOP measures 13 3/4 inches from the face of the front trigger and 12 7/8 inches from the face of the rear trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are various compression marks on the wood. The stock shows several small scrapes and scratches. Stock Configuration & Condition: The hardwood stock has a pistol grip with metal grip base, a raised cheek piece, hand checkering on the forearm & grip, two sling loops, a dark nose, and a serrated metal buttplate with hinged door for storage. The “300” marking can only be seen when the rear leaf is flipped down. The rear sight is a two leaf “U” notched assembly marked “300”. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade set atop a ramped base. The bottom of the magazine and the bolt release are both marked with a “cross in a circle”. the bolt knob is marked “10” the front of the saety toggle is also marked “10”. The underside of the bolt handle is marked with the serial number it is stamped over another 4 digit number. The left side of the barrel shank is also marked “crown / R”, “PV”, “NPv (Vienna smokeless proof mark)”, “8×57 MR B.BLINDEE” and with an “Austrian Coat of Arms” stamping. The left side of the receiver, the left side of the barrel shank and the top of the bolt handle are each marked with a “star / AC” proof and with a “flaming bomb with an L”.
